The bite of the cold is nothing compared to the warmth I feel inside.
The snowflake that was crafted from the sky,
continued to fall, fall, fall…
My snowflake fell from the sky.
It enamored me with its delicate beauty,
I wished it would last forever,
But nothing can last forever.
Forever is just a hopeless wish,
An endless desire.
A image one wishes to see,
An illusion.
Just like the cold, beautiful snowflake.
And as I thought of these words,
The snowflake fell on the palm of my outstretched hand.
The warmth seeped through the flake.
And melted the snow on my hand.
