As I gaze into the swirls of the seashell, I imagine creamy peanut butter and chocolate swimming in an orange bowl.
At first glance it is a white chocolate bar speckled with rice crisps,
And then it is like the whispering lilt of children’s voices in my ear,
And then it becomes a bobbing boat that holds teensy-tiny ants, wearing suits and dresses of the finest silk and velvet.
And now it is still, silent, and sleeping, dreaming and dreaming.
And now it is dreaming… of the howling ocean crashing against humongous boulders, and boats tossed wildly about in a seething vortex.
And now I am an angel floating above the calm, quiet sea.
