Last week, University High School Model United Nations (UHSMUN) board traveled to New York City to compete in the Columbia MUN Conference, their largest conference of the year.  Five advanced delegates placed at this highly competitive conference:

 COMMENDATIONS

Thomas Chen (Jr.) – Petronius (Liberator) – The Ides of March

Mehar Nangia (So.) – Joaquín Díaz Caneja – Cortes de Cadiz: Spain, 1812

OUTSTANDINGS

BEST DELEGATES

Charlie Xu (Jr.) – Kliment Efremovich Voroshilov – Soviet Politburo, 1941

Jessica Shin (Sr.) – John Tipton – Jackson’s Congress

During the same week, twenty-seven novice and advanced delegates competed at Mission Viejo High School’s 31st Annual MUN Conference. Sahil Lamba (Sr.), a member of the UHSMUN board, organized and advised the UHSMUN delegation.
