Never Again

With each wilting flower,
The new day dawns,
And seasons pass,
Never again will petals un-bloom,
And seeds un-sprout,
The flower wilts
With each setting stone,
Murphy runs and catches Lazarus,
Never again will a mark un-do,
And wounds un-scar,
The stone sets
I want to believe again,
Like a child born anew,
But never again will nature grace me innocence,
History sets,
And a boy matures
