The University High School (UHS) boys tennis team played Tesoro High School on Thursday, March 13 at the UHS tennis courts. The Trojans swept the Tesoro with a score of 18-0.
The Varsity Trojans tennis team played against Los Alamitos on Tuesday March 11. The Los Alamitos boys tennis is currently ranked 2nd in the county. The Trojans played as hard as they could and captured the victory with a score of 13-5.
Co-captain Drew Dawson (Sr.) said, “The team chemistry has been great so far. We have been tested recently, facing some of the top teams and our biggest rivals. Everyone has responded well and performed at a high level.”
The Trojans hope to maintain their streak and capture the CIF title. The Varsity’s team current steak is 96 games. They will play in the National All-American Tournament this weekend, from March 14 and 15.
