Boys water polo opened laugue by playing Woodbridge on Tuesday, October 1 for the Game of the Week. The Trojan Army packed the stands, cheering loudly.
UHS lost to Woodbridge by a close score of 11 to 10.
Player Max Lilien (Sr.) said about teammate Todd Denaro (Sr.), “One of our defensive leaders, Todd, was ejected early in the game. The combination of his ejection and our poor play led to our loss, but we will work harder and shut them out next time.”
In non-league play the team had a record of 6 wins and 2 losses. Despite a couple of losses, the players still have high hopes for the upcoming season.
