Hi! My name is Meera and I am a junior at UHS. I have always had a passion for journalism, and I have been honing my skills in writing as a feature staff writer at Sword and Shield, by writing articles for LA Times HS Insider, as well as by participating as a mentor in journalism mentoring programs such as Media Ahead and Wordshop. My favorite topics to write about are current events, opinion pieces, and stories of activism. Lastly, I enjoy being a part of S&S as I am able to explore a variety of different topics, I have met some amazing individuals, and I am able to challenge myself and learn from my peers.
