Girls Varsity Golf defeated Irvine with a total score of 184-226 on September 18.
There were ups and downs in the game but the girls clenched a decisive victory. “In this match we had Co-Captain Samantha Cabunag (Sr.) tie the school record of shooting 5 under par which is really good”, Coach Kevin Kasper (Athletic Dept.) said.
The team’s current record is 10-1 with 4-1 in league “Although we’ve been doing well, the goal of golf is to be consistent and that’s the tricky part.” Coach Kasper said.
The team is looking forward to future games as the league final is only 6 matches away.
“You just kind of have to look forward and worry about the next one” Cabunag said.
The next home game is against Northwood on September 27 at Strawberry Farms
