University High School (UHS)’s Madrigals are participating in the Local Vocals High School Sing-off, hosted by the University of Southern California’s radio station, KUSC . KUSC, which typically plays classical music, stated on their website, “you will be amazed by these Southern California choirs.” High school choirs submit songs to KUSC, which then features the songs on its website. People can listen to these songs and choose which choirs they like best by voting at the bottom of the page. The winning choir gets the privilege of appearing on From the Top, a local radio show that airs every Sunday at 6 p.m.
