The University Trojans faced the Beckman Patriots in their first away league game on October 18. Both teams began the game slowly, ending the first quarter tied at zero. However, at the start of the second quarter, a dramatic change in the atmosphere of the game occurred and by half time UHS was behind 7 to 14. Unfortunately, the Trojans had difficulties after halftime that caused them to lose the game 28-7.
Despite the loss, the Trojans are excited to play their homecoming game against Corona Del Mar on October 25. CornerbackĀ Brad Huber (Sr.) said, “We played the hardest we did all year and it’s unfortunate that we lost. Next week against CDM we have to play the game of our lives and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
