Girls Varsity Lacrosse defeated El Dorado High School 11-8 on Wednesday, March 1 in a close game. The teams were neck to neck up until the last few minutes.
“It was a fantastic way to start the season,” Coach Stibolt (English Dept.) said.
The win also excited members of the team, giving them confidence in the season to come. The girls feel prepared to take on their opponents in the upcoming league games.
“It was a great win because El Dorado is one of the best in their league,” player Molly Pirus (Jr.) said. “It just shows how far this program has come over the last couple of years. I think we’re going to have a great season.”
The team will face Esperanza High School in their next home game on Tuesday, March 2.
