Boys Varsity Lacrosse lost 9-5 against Woodbridge High School on Wednesday, March 29. This marked the end of their previous winning streak.
This was the team’s Game of the Week for the season.
“My boys really played their hearts out,” Captain Nick Khamseh (Jr.) said. “I personally don’t believe that I lived up to my own standards I set for myself, so I feel very sorry for that. I’m not going to lie, we are all very disappointed.”
Some members of the team struck a more optimistic note, saying that there was more they could do in the future.
“We came out really strong, and we’ve been improving all season,” Ryan Hane (Jr.) said. “We tried our best. It wasn’t enough this time, but next time we can beat them.”
The team will have their next home game on April 12 against Northwood High School.
