UHS Varsity Softball lost by a score of 4-0 to Beckman High School on Thursday, April 27.
UHS was unable to put anyone across the plate despite several opportunities with runners in scoring position. Beckman scored one run in the first and then tacked on three more in the sixth inning, including a two run home run.
This game for University puts the team at an 0-5 league record in last place in PCL.
“Even though this game did not have the result we wanted, we still have more games to look forward to,” Aubrey Maher (Sr.) said.
The next game for the team is against Northwood in an away game on May 2, where the Trojans will look to get their first league win.
