UHS Girls Softball lost 5-1 to Corona Del Mar High School on Thursday, May 4. This moves the girl’s overall record to 3-15 and an 0-9 league record.
UHS would score a run in the third inning. CDM would score two in the first, one in the fourth, and two more in the sixth.
Despite the loss, UHS tops CDM in on base percentage and fielding percentage on the season. Alexis Arredondo (So.) leads the team in on base percentage with .773 and a slugging percentage at 1.000.
Monet Allister (So.) pitched for the Trojans all seven innings, but was unable to get timely offense from her team.
Janette Oh (Jr.) leads the team in batting average with an impressive .545 average on the season.
UHS will take on Irvine in an away game on Tuesday, May 9.
