Overall, Girls Swim scored 174 points, while Boys Swim scored 202. Notably, Boys Swim did especially well and won first place in the 200 Medley Relays on Friday which qualified them to move on to the finals which were on Saturday, which they won as well.
“I think the team did very well. Everyone stepped up to the challenge and took on SM and Mater Dei” Varsity Captain and Senior Brian Lou said.
“Coming into the meet, we didn’t expect much from this meet. Uni boys absolutely took on the challenge and performed high quality races” Junior James Koga said.
The 200 Medley Relay Team consisted of Senior Captain Caden Ng, Senior Brian Lou, Junior Matt William, and Sophomore Matthew Lou.
Moving on from this meet and looking on to the league season, Swim is confident in their ability to continue to perform well.
“I think I did pretty well. Overall the team did very well as well” Junior Wesley Tsai said.
“There weren’t many standout swimmers since everyone stood out and performed well, so I would say the whole team stood out. I think we… can certainly improve on our own swimming, but as a team I think we did a great job overall” B. Lou said.
Swim’s next meet will be a home meet against Santa Margarita taking place tomorrow at 3:30.
