The team lost 5-2 at NHS on Tuesday, January 21. By the end of the first half, the score was tied 1-1, but the girls lost their momentum in the second half. The Trojans fought hard, and took multiple shots, but were not able to seal the win. Sofya Ogunseitan (So.) and Shantae Elam (Sr.) scored for the Trojans.
Tia Divok (Jr.) said, “We just went downhill after the first half. We are clearly better than Northwood and it’s frustrating to lose. Next time we play them, we will be looking for revenge.”
