University High School (UHS) girls basketball team will take on Woodbridge High School (WHS) on Friday, January 31 at 5:30 p.m. at WHS. On January 10, the Trojans lost to WHS in a nail-biting game (34-32). At the game, Sword and Shield‘s athlete of the month, Dana Bossenmeyer (Sr.), scored the highest number of points between both teams with 14 points. The Trojans, who are currently tied with WHS for #1 in the Pacific Coast League (PCL), are determined to win tomorrow, since doing so would place them as #1 in the PCL. Many UHS students are traveling to WHS to support the girls basketball team and effectively “pack the other gym.” Students have been using the catchphrase “Occupy Woodbridge” to encourage Trojan Army attendance to the game, which will begin at 5:30. Admission costs $5 with a UHS ID card or $8 for general admission.
