Welcome to The Butterfly Effect. Your hosts Theertha Hariharan Arulmozhi and Sodongoo Sodtuya explore how a small change in something leads to large and sometimes unimaginable consequences. They will be talking to students about what motivates them to do the things they do. In today’s episode, writer and musician Evan Zhong discusses what motivates him and what his butterfly is.

About the Contributors
Theertha Hariharan Arulmozhi, Staff Writer
Hi! I'm Theertha, and this year I'm a junior at University High School. I've been in Journalism all of high school, and this is my second year in Advanced Journalism. I love to write in my free time and have a few published children's books. I also love to do research. When I'm not writing or researching, you can probably find me talking about something (possibly to myself) or reading. My favorite book is Pay it Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde, which I often read while actively avoiding sleep.
Sodongoo Sodtuya (Soto), Staff Writer
Hey there! I'm Soto, your local sophomore and staff writer. Politics is my jam, speech & debate is my thing, Model United Nations is my playground, and being on stage is where I really shine! I'm the kind of person who never shies away from taking on an ambitious workload, occasionally dancing on the edge of time management, but somehow manages to survive the chaos! And did I mention traveling is my favorite hobby? Anyway, I have a bunch of stories to share and countless more pictures to capture, all to be cherished in the mind attic of my memories and experiences!
Dana Alsalem, Social Media Manager
