Hi! I’m Theertha, and I’m a senior at UHS as well as news editor for Sword and Shield next year. I’ve been in Journalism for my entire high school career, and this is my third year in Advanced Journalism. I love to write in my free time, and have a few published children’s books. I also love to do research. When I’m not writing or researching, you can probably find me talking about my latest interest or reading. I often procrastinate on sleeping by reading my favorite books, which include Pay It Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde as well as The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt.
