On Wednesday, September 17, the University High School (UHS) girls golf team played a difficult match at Strawberry Farms against Beckman High School. The Trojans were unable to defeat Beckman, 195-188, bringing them to a 1-1 season record.
Captain Nitya Bhardwaj (Sr.), who played the best score with only 36 strokes, said, “It was a tough game with the best team in our league.” The Trojans were down one player because Susan Lee (Jr.) was unable to play due to an ankle injury.
The girls golf team’s next match will be on September 25 at Strawberry Farms.
