On Thursday, September 25, the University High School (UHS) girls tennis team faced Woodbridge High School and earned another victory with a final score of 13-5. The girls crushed their opposition, bringing their incredible winning streak to 6-0.
The Trojans cruised to an easy victory in their first match of Pacific Coast League (PCL). Captain Yuki Asami (Sr.) said, “After our second round, we were already winning by so much that we were able to sub all our singles and some of our doubles as well.” The girls tennis team is looking to capture both the PCL and CIF titles this year.
The next UHS girls tennis match will be a home game against Beckman High School on September 30th at 3:15 PM.
