Cookie Connection offers a wide variety of cookies, ice creams and cookie cakes. The price for each cookie is $2.50, $3.50 for just ice cream, $5.50 for ice cream and a cookie and $7.50 for ice cream sandwiches.
To set it apart from other cookie shops, Cookie Connection sells a minimum of nineteen cookie regularly offered flavors plus specialty flavors that vary daily. The store also offers different themed cookies that change each season. Customers can bring in their own cookie cutters and Cookie Connection will make cookies for them in that shape and with whatever frosted cookie customers want. Cookie Connection sells a multitude of flavors, from a basic chocolate chip cookie to specialty cookies like Crackle or Carmello cookies. The Carmello has chocolate chip cookie dough with milk chocolate chips and caramel chips. Another one of the store’s top sellers, the Crackle is a chocolate brownie cookie rolled in powdered sugar.
Despite its novel features, Cookie Connection is not perfect. The cookies are not consistently warm or perfectly baked. Its Irvine location faces tough competition from similar, surrounding businesses like Barefoot Bowls or Creamistry.
Amy Parampil (Fr.) went to Cookie Connection and ordered the S’mores Cookie. She said, “I personally think that the cookies were a little too expensive for the taste and nothing really amazed me. I never thought I would pay $2.50 for a 4X4 cookie. I kind of felt bad for asking my dad to buy me two cookies when nothing made me want to come back. I definitely would say to try it at least once and see if you like it for yourself.”
Cookie Connection is the perfect place to grab a cookie if you do not mind the price. Especially for those who like sweet desserts, Cookie Connection is worth a try.
