I once thought that the only path to jealousy is through that of deficit
That a yearn for something one does not possess is derived from what one has been lacking but constantly-
Deep within.
How is it that an ocean so still, So calm,
So strong yet so stable, is able
To be controlled, to be tamed by a single pebble
That a depthless ocean that envelops the world kneels before the shore.
Waves conquer stone and rip with paralleled ease through land
feeding off each-other
hungry for power.
Teach me why I felt nothing for the depthless ocean
until it was dried up into cracks
why I envied not its empowered currents-wild and infinite
until I felt emptier than the threats of the waves
