The first Monday of September
Not a suitable day for fever
A national holiday with no school
Perfect for a day in the pool
Average wake up time gets delayed
Sunday is a great day to have replayed
Kids going to playgrounds and parks
With their dogs all happy to bark
Only few understands this holiday
When hard working laborers get their day
No mail men are present during daytime
Including the gardener who works over-time
Not a lot of people truly understand
They just get drunk and go for a dance
But the original purpose helps the labor men
To have their day great again
