Kids see lights in houses along the street at night
And point their little fingers at them –
Look! There is light!
Well, everybody sees those lights at night,
Since they are right before our eyes
But what about other places that are out of our sight?
Are there lights too?
We see the giant trees growing in the forest
But under our feet there are hundreds more seeds waiting
We see the scientists who win prizes onstage
But thousands of others work until daylight and remain unknown
Do we see them too?
All the lights we don’t see
It doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Even if you can’t see them,
Don’t deny them.
