Girls Volleyball  was defeated 0-3 against Beckman in their second league game on September 28, making their score 1-1 in league
The first set was difficult, as UHS finished with 12 points and Beckman with 25. However, in the second set UHS had better coordination, more successful plays, and greater communication.
“We worked our hardest against that team,” Sydney Cercado (Sr.) said, “[we tried] to keep up a fight.”
With that said, UHS they played their hardest and brought the score up to 21-25. despite this, Beckman stepped up their game and won the match, finishing with a score of 18-25.
Beckman proved to be one of their harder opponents, but the girls are currently aiming to defeat them the second round. “[The games were] a rough loss,”  Bella Oldham (Sr.) said, “But we really played well and fought hard.”
