Little Stories: a poem

Little Stories: a poem

Till I held out my palm to show you the pressed penny from Disney World,
had you forgotten? The first week we met, you told me about your penny collection.
Here, I’ve brought one from thousands of miles away for you.
This may not mean anything compared to all the other coins you have,
but I thought it’d be a good way to let you know:
among the many other daily things we share,
your little stories I treasure the most.
