Girls Varsity Volleyball lost to Northwood 3-2 on October 16.
The final and deciding set was lost by only three points.“It was a really close game,” Brandon Directo (Athletics Dept.) said. “Northwood showed up at the end and scored the points that mattered.”
There was no doubt that the girls gave their best shot. “We worked hard as a team,” Lir Bartal (Fr.) said. “We worked well together.”
“There were just few points here and there that added up,” varsity player Serena Choi (So.) said.
The team did well with only minor setbacks. “We did miss serves,” Gelina Linsangan (Sr.) said. “But I don’t think we played badly.”
The next home game is on October 23 against Beckman.
