Girls Varsity Volleyball won 3-0 against Irvine on Tuesday, October 19. This puts the team’s league score at 3-8.
The team won the first, second and third games by 14, 5 and 6 points respectively. “The girls are getting better,” Brandon Directo (Athletics Dept.) said. “We have the potential to beat Woodbridge and Beckman.”
The team had a good vibe throughout the game. “We had really good positivity all around,” Lauren Cho (So.) said. “Every girl was cheering for one another.”
The rest of the game agrees with Cho’s characterization of the game. “We really did a good job on balancing fun and intensity.” Serena Choi (So.) said.
The girls really enjoyed the game. “Overall it was a great time,” Gelina Linsangan (Sr.) said. “We really clicked and we were really supportive of each other.”
The next home game is against Northwood on October 23.
