Girl’s Basketball Competes in El Diablo Tournament

University High School Girl’s Basketball competed in the Diablo Inferno Tournament tournament from December 2nd to December 7th, winning one of their games and losing three. 
During the tournament, the Trojans played Woodrow Wilson High School, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary High School, and Valley Christian High School. The scores of each game were 18-58, 51-68, 44-51, and 46-42 respectively. Over the five day period, they played four different teams and managed to end the tournament on a win against Valley Christian. 
“We played extremely talented and challenging teams, but the heat of the competition and intensity that the games brought was unmatched,” said Senior Captain Aryn Press. “I loved every minute of the games as we got to go out there and compete I look forward to the games ahead”.   we played challenging teams but the heat of competition and intensity that the games brought was unmatched. loved every minute of it.
Girl’s Basketball’s next game is against Crean Lutheran on December tenth and is at Crean. Girls Basketball starts League games on January 7th, against Northwood, followed by a trip to Portola and then a home game against Irvine on January tenth at 5:30 PM.
