On Nov. 3, 2025, the real-time strategy game Clash Royale released its next season. Every month, the game development team at Supercell pushes a major update that includes new content and balance changes. The two major highlights of this season are the “Evolution Royal Hogs” and the reworked “Three Musketeers.”
“Evolution Royal Hogs” is a five elixir troop that places four pigs, which only attack buildings. Because they ignore other troops, they are an excellent tool for rushing an opponent’s crown towers, which count as a win condition.
Their evolution form, which requires two cycles to activate, gives them wings. This means that most cards will no longer be able to target the pigs. Upon taking damage, they fall to the ground, dealing area damage on contact. They can now fly over the bridge, meaning certain defenses are no longer possible. Players can still counter the evolution with splash cards like the “Electro Spirit” or the “Wizard.”
The “Three Musketeers” have also received a significant rework on this update. Being the most expensive card in the game at nine elixir, the “Three Musketeers” were previously far too weak, with the card costing too much for the value it provided. Common spells like the “Fireball,” which costs four elixir, were able to easily counter the “Three Musketeers” for a huge elixir trade. Any mini-tank or bulky melee card placed on the musketeers could also annihilate them for less than half the cost.
By reworking the card, Clash Royale has attempted to fix some of these glaring flaws. First, Supercell has completely overhauled the card’s design and made each musketeer unique. This visually distinguishes them from the other “Musketeer” card, which serves a different purpose.
Additionally, the “Three Musketeers” card now has more health, allowing the troop to survive more spells and enhancing its functionality. They also carry bayonets, allowing them to execute melee attacks to deal massive damage. Because of this, the “Three Musketeers” are now a serious threat from any range.
Finally, Supercell released balance changes in this update, specifically toning down the “Evolution Wallbreakers” and “Evolution Royal Ghost.” With a slight damage reduction to the “Wallbreakers,” this change is unlikely to make a real effect; “Wallbreakers” are good because they are a fast win condition that costs just two elixir. However, a huge 50% damage reduction to the Royal Ghost’s minions will likely have a significant impact.
Overall, the Clash Royale season for November is well executed with fantastic new designs for “Evo Hogs” and “Three Musketeers,” alongside several more minor balance adjustments.
