On Friday, January 16, the UHS girls basketball team played Corona Del Mar High School (CDM) in its second away game of the season.
The Trojans were unable to defeat the CDM Sea Queens, and the game ended in a 22-48 Trojan loss. The Trojans now have a 0-3 league record.
Reilly Chang (Sr.) said, “Our team stuck pretty well to our defensive game plan, but we had a tough time scoring—none of our shots went in.”
The Trojans struggled in part due to CDM’s significant height advantage, but still worked hard throughout the game.
UHS will play Northwood High School on January 20, tonight, at home.
