That awkward moment when our eyes met, but they were not meant for me.
That awkward moment when I admired from afar, and I thought you could not see.
That awkward moment when I started to talk, but became shy, shaking from head to feet.
That awkward moment when I said, “I think you’re really sweet.”
That awkward moment when you called, and I got all psyched inside.
That awkward moment when you stared when I started to cry.
That awkward moment when we felt like we could barely breathe.
That awkward moment when I realized there was meaning to your smile underneath.
That awkward moment when we felt like we were the only two.
That awkward moment when I saw that you gave my life a new hue.
That awkward moment when others saw that this was meant to be.
That awkward moment when we found that we both did not agree.
That awkward moment when we tried to work it out and failed.
That awkward moment when I was left alone when you walked out and bailed.
That awkward moment when I lied there crying because I did not know what to do.
That awkward moment when “I love you” was something we looked back to.
