On February 10, the UHS girls basketball team played a close game against Northwood High School (NHS). The Trojans lost with a score of 54-57.
The loss brings UHS to a 2-6 league record and 12-12 overall season record. Captain Kiara Warren (Sr.) said, “We played hard and put our best effort into it. Losing is no fun especially when we are giving our all, but it was a good learning experience.”
Christina Liao (Sr.) scored 15 points in total. Regarding the team’s performance, she said, “It was a close game, but everyone on the team worked hard and we tried our best.”
UHS will play away against Irvine High School today, Thursday, February 12.
