The Girls Varsity Tennis Team dominated the FVHS Barons 13-5 last Thursday, September 8.
The Trojans were ranked fourth in Orange County after their previous season and are looking to start off strong this season.
The game was off to a hot start with doubles team Ashlyn Wang (Sr.) and Sasha Iraniha (Jr.) winning the set 6-2 and fellow doubles team of Kayla Agustin (Jr.) and Snighda Vayalapadu (Jr.) winning a tougher matchup 6-4 contributing to an overall doubles score of 7-2.
Singles players Dana Feng (So.), Tiffany Markus (Jr.) and Kamar Alajeely (So.) helped secure 6 sets out of 9.
“I felt that my teammates executed everything we practiced really well during the game which resulted in a solid win and I couldn’t be prouder” Vayalapadu said after her victory.
The Trojans can be seen on the court on September 13 against Dana Hills High School.
