Morning: a poem

The darkness is still, but slowly fading
Some wake up to make a new opening
Few lights start to brighten the skies
Vans are moving to transport supplies
Delivery men to teachers prepare for the day
Working early to prevent any delay
Small noises come from shops
Even from restaurants and small, clean shops
Working quietly, without disturbance
They are preparing hard for a purpose
When the hour hand points to 6, people start to wake up
To start another day, as the birds chirrup
From kids to adults, wake up in a brief
Some moaning some excited
Dressing up according to their jobs
They get ready for their breakfast with a smile.
People walk out of their homes, excited or depressed
But all of them wish for the best
