Boys Varsity Lacrosse defeated Murrieta Valley High School 11-8 on Wednesday, March 8 in a very close game. UHS was able to build a lead early on, and kept it until the end of the game.
“At first I was nervous that they were catching up to us, but we were thankfully able to maintain our lead in the second half,” player Ryan Hane (Jr.) said.
After their win, the players seemed optimistic about their upcoming games.
“I feel great about the rest of the season to come,” Hane said. “If we can keep performing at the level we did here, we’re just going to keep winning and winning and winning.”
The team will face Tustin High School in their next home game on Friday, March 10.
