Girl’s Tennis faced Beckman in their game this past Monday, resulting in a 11-7 win. The Trojans are now going into the C.I.F. Playoffs undefeated, and hope to continue the success they have had so far this season.
“The last game of the season went well. We needed our season undefeated and our team excited. The Beckman game was a great way to end off league season and now our top players are starting CIF matches” said Captain senior Dena Norouzi.
UHS and Beckman have faced twice this season, both resulting in a win for the Trojans with a past score of 12-6. Additionally, the team has swept Beckman every year for almost the past decade. Girls Tennis has beat all other teams in their division twice over, granting them their undefeated record.
“I was very happy that our girls rallied together and managed to win the final game of the season. We went 10-0 so we can’t complain, and we’re looking for more success in playoffs” said number one doubles partner junior Emily Markus.
Girl’s Tennis’ next game, C.I.F. playoffs, will take place on November 8th at 2:00 at the home tennis courts.
