O, when you finally left your lonely shell,
As you touched my lips, and I felt my heart swell,
The world exploded with color and life.
The flavors of love dancing on my tongue, so nice.
Yet our love was not meant to last,
As time tore us apart, you became my past.
Slowly but surely you became too boring,
My last stick of gum, as I spit you out I’m saying:
“I’m sorry”
